After a much heated deabte over 2 outs vs 3 outs, the ref ruled in favor of E=MC Hammered (green). Shortly after the ruling,  The Super Skinnies (blue) proceeded to count multiple objects to prove that they were better at counting than the refs and the entire Hammered team. Hammered responded by stating that they knew how to count just as well as the Super Skinnies and may have said something about someones mother. In the end, it was determined that nobody really gave a shit as everyone realized that it is just a recreational kickball league and decided that having fun was more important than acting like jackasses.

On behalf of team Hammered I apologize to the Super Skinnies and the Refs for last weeks game.


PS: I knew it was only two outs. HAHAHAHA. Nobody reads this blog anyways.

The beer was flowing, the ladder was up, the drinks were in hand, etc.  All essential ingredients to a successful, hilarious Beer Ball game.  Thank you Grape Nutz for putting it all together.  Both teams had an absolute blast!

Wow what a game!
That was one of the most fun games Ive played in 4 seasons…..I just cant get out of my mind the amazing play of  Mr. David Zingale..aka Zingo…..Zingo rounded second..took a drink from the ladder….rounded first base…..then decided to run the bases backward back towards second after almost reaching home to get more to drink all while avoiding being thrown out by the merciless slapstick defense of the Grape Nutz….it was one of the finest displays in all of kickball…..
Also by the 4th inning Ahler was treated with a drenching of beer from the team as he headed to third base in yet another classic Kickball moment…anytime you get sprayed with about 12 beers from your own team while running the bases..its a great kickball game….
I would also repeat some of Alison’s great quotes of the night…but I know they are not work appropriate…which made me appreciate them just that much more!  -Trav

This promises to be our best season yet.  A lot of free agnecy changes in the off-season so it will be fun trying to recognize everyone in their new colors.

As for the kickball season, it starts next week. and we have the 7pm game. We usually arrive at 6pm for every week and do some pre partying in the parking lot, so try and attend that if you can. Remember no glass bottles and bring some form of container to drink out of, i.e. a bubba keg. As for your shirts, I have them, and if you would like yours before next thursday, then please contact me and we can arrange for you to pick it up beforehand, otherwise, you can just get it at the game next week.

Hey all you kickballers come out to Aloma Bowl on June 20th from 3pm to 5pm to help Central Florida Kickball raise money for this season’s charity, Children’s Home Society of Florida.

Established in 1902, Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS) is one of Florida’s oldest private not-for-profit organizations providing services to children and families.

The cost for this event is $25.00 which includes shoes, two hours of bowling, 3 drink tickets, and pizza and soda.

Your drink tickets can be redeemed for as follows:
1 Ticket= A Well or Domestic Bottle
2 Tickets = Your Call (Jack, Jim, Jose, etc…)
3 Tickets= A Pitcher

We will also be selling additional tickets the day of the event for $2.75.

You can register for bowling in advance by sending payments through paypal to sweet.richard@yahoo.com and since paypal charges a small fee make sure you add $1.03 to your $25.00 dollar payment for a total of $26.03.

Camping / Day at the Beach “Kickballers Invade Cocoa Beach”

This Sunday March 8th is the Winter Kickball Scavenger Hunt. The Hunt begins at 12pm at the Clubhouse. The Hunt lasts for 4 hours or until you find all items on the list. There will be a 1st place prize of $200 visa gift and 2nd place prize of $50 visa gift card.

Rules:

1. You must be a Kickballer from the current season to participate.
2. Minimum of 4 people per team (no max).
3. Scavenger Hunt teams can have players from multiple kickball teams
4. All items on the list must be documented with a digital photo, and all digital photos, per team, must be on the same camera, meaning the judges will only review 1 camera per team.
5. The competition goes from noon to 4pm on Sunday the 8th. The first team to turn in all items on the list by 4pm wins. If you haven’t found all items on the list, make sure you make it to the clubhouse by 4pm to have your camera reviewed for accuracy. The winning team will be announced at 5pm at the clubhouse.
6. No computers or internet is allowed to search for items on the list, meaning you can’t just Google something and take a photo of the screen.
7. This is a walking scavenger hunt, no cars, bikes, skateboards, or any other means of transportation is allowed.
8. All items can be found in downtown Orlando, the designated area for the hunt is I-4 to Summerlin and Anderson to Colonial. So basically the immediate downtown area.

So I hope everyone is ready to have a blast this Sunday finding a bunch of crazy things in Downtown Orlando! See everyone at noon this Sunday!!

After seeing the changes in the new kickball.com website, I decided that we should create our own unofficial site so we can blog and keep track of events, standings, and share photos.

Thanks to everyone who came out! Awesome job!

WAKA kickballers came out and helped paint the exterior of single story residential house. These are homes of low income seniors.  Seniors First went  out the week before and prepped the home so that the Kickballers could come in and help.  Seniors First came and  pressure washed, sealed, and spray painted portions of the house.  Our group finished painting the home in 4 hours, about half the time expected!  Thank you to Seniors First for  supplying the materials and the equipment needed.  Thank you to the WAKA members who participated for making this event a success!
